My son Alex made these yummy Cinnamon Twists at school in his Family and Consumer Science Class and made them for us Sunday morning. For a beginner chef this is a very kid friendly and easy recipe for them make all by themselves. Ohh and they are amazingly delicious!!
Prep Time: 10 minutes • Cook Time: 8-10 minutes • Servings: 4-5
Cinnamon Twists Ingredients:
1 T. Butter
2 T. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 pkg 10 count refrigerator Biscuits
1 piece of Wax Paper
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. While the oven is preheating combine the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Place butter in a microwave safe glass dish and cover with the wax paper. Melt on high for 20 seconds. Roll each biscuit into a 6 inch stick. DO NOT over roll!! Dip the breadstick into the melted butter and then into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes. REMOVE from baking sheet immediately or they will stick to the pan.
1/4 cup canned vanilla frosting
Sprinkle Cinnamon Sugar
Place Vanilla Frosting in a glass microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 10-20 seconds and then sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar.
